Queensland Solar & Lighting have been installing solar panels since 2013. We have installed over 1000 solar systems in the SE Qld region with not 1 bad review to date. We work a little bit slower and cautiously than the other guys selling solar panels in Brisbane - This we believe has helped us maintain as much control over the install and customer service as possible.

Our 10KW system was installed a couple of months ago and we have had no issues pre and post installation. I found their panels and inverter to be an excellent value proposition for my needs (do your own research). Also as others have mentioned, Daniel is very dedicated to his customers and makes himself accessible, taking the time to answer any questions you may have. The reviews are real, and I have no hesitation recommending Queensland Solar and Lighting.

At first I thought he was one of the Wiggles but he then went on to explain that he was actually the CEO of a QLD Solar and Lighting and was going to offer me a great deal on a solar install with his company. I decided to purchase solar from Daniel because it was a quality system for a fair price. I also thought he might be able to use the money from my install to buy a new suit.

The difference between their approach, pricing, quality systems and other solar companies was almost day and night. I especially appreciated the way Scott explained everything to me at the time. The trust was there instantly. When the day of installing the system came, it was effortlessly and like clockwork. No fuss!
The savings are incredible with solar. We are in credit ever since we had it installed. What also helps is choosing your electricity provider. Ours gives generous rebates for direct debit payments (28%). They don't stop after a year either, so shop around. We went for AGL.
In short, YES, I would recommend Queensland Solar and Electricity wholeheartedly!

Also, when Energex came to connect to the grid, the technicians were snippy and told me it would save me no money to have solar. After they left, I noticed the inverter was not working and called Qld Solar for help, who found that Energex technicians HAD NOT TURNED IT ON. Thanks for help fixing that problem! We are a double residence household with a large pool, 3 fridges and a freezer and our quarterly power bill is now under $300, down from $1000.

Price was very good, and quality components used. The installation team were great guys, very professional and went the extra mile to deal with existing broken roof tiles for me.
My roof is scary steep, and they did an awesome job.
The system is cranking and out performing all estimates.
1st sunny day in May it produced 50kw - if I could find a way to use more power it would have cranked up a lot more.
Payback in less than 3yrs
Great warranties on all gear.
Daniel is happy to help with any issue.

And then the installer (Julian) was bang on time, kind and courteous and did a great tidy install. Cleaned up everything, took the time to explain the unit and its features and was overall very professional and helpful.

Discussion of the best solar inverter to replace a recently failed inverter. Ended up selecting a Zeversolar ZL3000S with an extended warranty (10 years total). So far very happy with it - online app to see solar power production is great!

We live on Russell Island and got stuffed around by one of the well advertised cheap companies. After 2 months of waiting we cancelled our contract with them and rang Scott. He was upfront from the start. 2 weeks later our solar was installed for the fantastic price quoted for a 6kw system, no extra costs involved, and it was up and running a week later. I had a few other companies quote to set up an install, but as my roof design was very sectioned, many companies over promised on what would actually fit onto the roof based on internet pictures. Scott was the only one who actually sent a crew out to the house to properly check and measure what would fit, and figured out the best way forward. He also made sure I wasn’t over spending on a system, and didn’t try to upsell me anything. He actually talked me out of some extra spending that I thought would have been a good idea (and would have made him more money), but was ultimately unnecessary. Definitely very knowledgeable. The install crews were good, and did a great job. Would definitely recommend.

The main reason was the quality and efficiency of the panels and inverter compared to others on the market, The customer service was excellent and they were Australian, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable, the tradesmen that installed the system were much the same, very knowledgeable with solar and electricity and good honest Aussie workers that did a quality job, the little amount of time it took for them to fit 20 panels to my roof and fitted and wired up the inverter where I wanted it installed not where it was easiest for them was amazing.
