Photon Solar was originally established under the name Active Electrical & Air Conditioning, offering general electrical services and installations. Over time, we rapidly became a leading provider of solar energy systems in Alice Springs. Specialising in solar systems was a logical progression, as ‘green’ energy is environmentally-friendly and more cost-effective than using fossil fuels. We are now accredited solar designers and installers with the Clean Energy Council, having provided these power solutions since 2009. As an authorised SunPower partner, our team has access to the highest quality solar panels on the market. Since the partnership, these panels have been installed on many different projects, including a 4-megawatt solar farm in Alice Springs. Peter Oyler from Northern TerritoryMark and company are fantastic. I'm writing this review powered by the sun, thanks to Photon Solar. Mark was very creative given the type of install we wanted and made it work. Even though we live in town we've been isolated from the grid (voluntarily) since yesterday, our batteries kept us going through the night and now more than 9.5kw are flowing in to recharge them. All it takes is a flick of a switch and we could be back on grid power if we wanted. I couldn't be happier. During the install Mark and his team were very tidy and pleasant to interact with. Couldn't recommend more.

Michael Anthony Hey from Northern TerritoryThis will be a long read but well worth it if you are genuinely looking for a solar professional. My first contact I believe was with Marks wife. Simple, polite has a sense of humour and straight talking. Next was Mark. Came on time with no illusions that we just wanted a service on our existing system and that it had not been serviced since install (about 8 or 9 years ago). We had servers other companies keen for new sales but not real keen on the maintenance side. Well the boys turned up today and Mark was not with them. They took the time to explain what they were going to do. They were very thorough and methodical. They found faulty parts and photographed them and the parts they replaced they took the time to show me the faulty parts and the new parts. They took the time to do the job properly. I never asked for an immediate job or a quick job. I just wanted a proper job. The boys found a few serious faults and handled it straight away. You will only ever have a system installed once but please give consideration to companies that are willing to offer a complete service and not just a sale.
